Five people were arrested while unloading a container with stolen merchandise, which was kept in a building in the Santiago neighborhood.

According to him statement of the Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM)the action was the result of a coordinated operation between elements of the General Directorate of Combating Vehicle and Transportation Theft (DGCRVyT) and the Control, Command, Communication, Computing and Quality Center (C5), after the analysis of the video surveillance cameras of state infrastructure.
Based on this monitoring, the officers conducted tours of the area until they located a property on Melchor Ocampo Street, in the Santiago neighborhood, first section.
In the area, they observed, through a red hallway, a white Utility container, with characteristics similar to those reported stolen, so they proceeded to carry out an inspection.

Inside were Jaime “N”, 50 years old; Nahum “N”, 26; Fernando “N”, 28; Alejandro “N”, 26, and Antonio “N”, 36, who were carrying out maneuvers to unload the product and did not prove legal possession of the container.
After reading the rights that the law confers on them, the five individuals were placed at the disposal of the corresponding authority, which will be in charge of determining their legal situation.
The property was placed under the protection of a State Police unit, in order to prevent the alteration of evidence and preserve the evidence.
