The Ministry of Public Security (SSP) of Yucatan informs that the actions to locate the person are maintained and have been expanded. Mrs. Mirna del Socorro Barrera Vega, 87 years oldthrough field work and technological support in Mérida and surrounding municipalities.
In addition to the previously reported ground tours and image analysis, operational personnel from the SSP intensified the direct approach with the population.

Public transport bases, taxi sites and stops have been visited, as well as shops and markets, where there is dialogue with workers, street vendors and people passing through to find out if they have seen the older adult or have any useful information for her location.
These tasks are carried out in all sectors of Merida and in suburban areas, with emphasis on the west of the city and in the routes where there has previously been a visual record of the citizen.
From the C5i, permanent surveillance and coordinated communication is maintained with the operational sectors of Mérida and surrounding municipalities, reviewing video surveillance cameras and individuals to identify possible routes and new indications that contribute to their location.
The Ministry of Public Security reiterates the call to the population so that any data or sightings related to this elderly adult be reported immediately to the 9-1-1 emergency numberand appreciates the collaboration of those who have provided information and have joined in these tasks, which continue to be a priority for the corporation.
