Unlike the roundabouts, avenues and parks of the Historic Centerwhere the lights, decorations and festive figures are already installed and waiting to be turned on, in the La Plancha Great Park The Christmas atmosphere is not yet present.
In this park only fences with canvases have been placed that show the image of the Christmas village, without for now there is a trace of decoration or structures alluding to the season.
According to information on the park’s Facebook page, Christmas Villa will be of December 5 to January 6. He December 14 the special presentation of the Yucatán Symphony Orchestra.
However, the little houses, the polar bears, the gingerbread men, the reindeer and the figure of Santa Claus have not yet “landed”which generates curiosity among those who visit the place daily to exercise, walk or simply rest.
For many neighbors and families, the arrival of this decoration has become a kind of sign that the holiday season is about to begin. Therefore, the absence of decorations has drawn attention and has raised expectations about how the traditional villa will look this year.
