The Iztacalco Mayor’s Officethrough the Auxiliary Police, and in coordination with the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City and the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), carried out this Sunday a series of simultaneous preventive patrol operations in the sectors Tlacotal and Pantitlán, where more than 50 elements were deployed, as part of the comprehensive strategy.
With these actions they are part of the permanent work that is maintained in the territory to inhibit the commission of crimes, prevent administrative offenses and reinforce surveillance mechanisms that provide greater confidence to residents.
Nearly 30 elements of the Auxiliary Police, the SSC-CDMX and the SEMAR They toured different neighborhoods in the Tlacotal Sector, carrying out preventive patrols, supervision at strategic points and route reviews to maintain a continuous and dissuasive presence. Simultaneously, in the Pantitlán Sectora device was activated with 27 elements from the same units, fulfilling the objective of expanding coverage in areas with a high concentration of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, as well as in areas that require reinforced surveillance.
Both deployments were carried out under the knowledge and supervision of the Regional Director of the SSC-CDMX in Iztacalco, guaranteeing solid and effective institutional coordination that allows for faster responses and improved strategies in the face of any situation that may arise.
As part of the general security reinforcement, the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office implemented permanent operations on weekends in the 18 quadrants that comprise the three sectors of the demarcation: Iztaccíhuatl, Tlacotal and Pantitlán, where more than 60 elements of the Auxiliary Policemore than 40 members of the SSC-CDMX and around 50 members of the Mayor’s structure staff, who carry out constant patrols, foot-and-land tours, proximity to citizens and supervision actions in residential, commercial and mobility areas.
With these inter-institutional operations, the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office works in a coordinated manner with the different levels of government to strengthen citizen security, promote peaceful coexistence and provide a closer, more efficient and timely response to the needs of the community.
