CDMX. On Saturday night the farewell tour ended and the Silver heir had his ‘last fight’ in the Sports Palace where he was accompanied by his family, friends and fans. The Son of the Saint He had the farewell he deserved for his 42 years of experience and his cultural impact. What moved him most was obtaining the recognition of his own teammates and of course the ovation for the last fight in which he passed the torch to his son, Santo Jr.
Fishman’s son, Texano Jr. and Dr. Wagner Jr., were the last opponents of Hijo del Santo, who made a third with Último Dragón and LA Park, which gave him the necessary support to make everything afloat. The rudeness of the opponents was not long in coming, but the ability and experience of the technicians was what brought to light a fight in which there was no shortage of comedy because the referee first joined the rude ones, but then, with the technicians, he had his moment of glory by ironing Wagner Jr. and taking a fictitious count of three that LA Park made.
