The minister Loretta Ortiz Ahlf and the ministers Giovanni Azael Figueroa Mejía e Irving Espinosa Betanzo participated in the inauguration of the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL)in its 39th edition, and at the FIL Prize for Literature in Romance Languages award ceremony.
During the event at Expo GuadalajaraMinister Ortiz Ahlf stated that the presence of ministers in the FIL reaffirms her conviction of “building a justice that is not only written in resolutions, but is also reflected in public conversation and in the dissemination of legal knowledge.”

In turn, Minister Espinosa Betanzo stressed that the spaces for dissemination of culture and knowledge are fundamental to building a democratic society founded on social justice and peace.
Minister Figueroa Mejía thanked the University of Guadalajara the invitation to this space for dialogue and recalled that the New Court is about to complete 100 days of work.
Within the framework of the activities of this day at the FIL, the ministers will participate in the Dialogue Table “Renewed justice for a democratic Mexico”to be held in the Juan Rulfo auditorium.
Minister Ortiz Ahlf participated in the presentation of the books Comments on the Inter-American Convention on Human Rights and Mom, in your absence, who for me? In the latter, the intervention of Minister Yasmín Esquivel Mossa was added.

For his part, Minister Giovanni Azael Figueroa Mejía announced the work Expansion and recognition of (new) rights by the Constitutional Courts.
Since 2017, the Highest Court of the country participates in the Guadalajara International Book Fair. This year, the New Court invites the public to come to its institutional space, located on Avenida Poetas stand J64, from November 29 to December 7, where works and activities that strengthen legal culture and the rapprochement with citizens.
