Robinhood has announced that it will expand its prediction markets to include new betting options on NFL games. This expansion allows users to bet on combinations of game outcomes and individual performances, putting Robinhood in direct competition with traditional sportsbooks. Users can now trade preset combinations of scores, point totals and point spreads from individual NFL games. Starting in early 2026, it will also be possible to create custom combinations of up to ten scores across different NFL games.
The launch of these new features was announced at the Robinhood Presents: YES/NO event in California. JB Mackenzie, vice president and general manager of futures and international at Robinhood, explained that these expansions are another step toward creating new customer experiences and meeting user needs. The ability to bet on the performance of individual NFL players in real time is another highlight of these innovations.
Robinhood plans to expand parlay functionality to other areas in the future, including non-sporting events such as economic data. Mackenzie mentioned that over time it could be interesting to combine assets from different classes, such as climate and election data. These expansions are part of Robinhood’s strategy to establish itself as a leader in the prediction markets space.
Since Robinhood entered prediction markets ahead of the 2024 presidential election, the company has continued to expand its presence in the space. Partnerships with ForecastEx and Kalshi, as well as a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group, have helped Robinhood’s prediction markets already generate $100 million in annual revenue. Analysts see significant growth potential in this business area, which caused Robinhood’s share price to rise by 220% in 2025.
